1. Acceptance

By using DocBench, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. What DocBench Does

DocBench is an AI-powered document workspace. You upload documents, ask questions, and get AI-generated answers with citations. The AI can also create and modify documents on your behalf.

3. Your Content

  • You own the documents you upload and the content you create.
  • You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the service.
  • We do not use your content to train AI models.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload the documents you share.

4. AI-Generated Content

AI responses and generated documents may contain errors, inaccuracies, or hallucinations. You should review AI output before relying on it for important decisions. DocBench is not a substitute for professional advice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload illegal, harmful, or malicious content.
  • Attempt to bypass usage quotas or security controls.
  • Use the service for automated scraping or bulk processing.
  • Reverse-engineer or interfere with the service's operation.

6. Usage Limits

Free accounts have daily and weekly usage quotas. Usage beyond these limits requires upgrading to a paid plan or providing your own API keys (BYOK). We reserve the right to adjust quotas.

7. BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)

If you provide your own API keys, you are responsible for any costs incurred on your API provider account. We encrypt your keys at rest but cannot guarantee against all possible security incidents.

8. Guest Accounts

Guest accounts are ephemeral and may be deleted after 24 hours of inactivity. To keep your work, create a registered account.

9. Availability

We aim to keep DocBench available but don't guarantee uptime. The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account and data at any time.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
